Adventure Time: The Week

Spent the week down in Sydney for a work conference. They were nice enough to put us up at the Sebel Pier One, down at the Rocks which was a pretty convenient location. Harbour Bridge views from my window should have been the highlight but it wasn’t. My bathroom was a disable bathroom, so I missed out on a bath though I did have a bench in the shower.  Breakfast had views of the harbour and the conference room was located at the end of the pier. Equating to direct harbour and bridge views and a constant stream of serious boats driving past the window.

Adventure Time: Back Home

It was an adventure getting home as my flight was furthered delayed in the air, holding patterns are awesome. Forgot how good my own bed is and I’ve only been away for a month. Dropped into Sneak today and picked up a few stickers from Duck which have already found a new home. Blaze of Glory’s are still one of the most comfortable shoes out, like wearing socks really.

To make a clear split between Working Life and Adventure Time I’ll do my best to keep it monotone and colour respectively for the titles. Plus rain you are making it a little tricky for official Allicater team rides.

Working Life: Friday

I’m aware of the current weather back home but that won’t stop me from going for a ride. Arrive at the airport for a 5:20 flight to be told it is delayed until 6:00. Not a big deal but still enough to be up setting at this time of day. Work today was work just like any other day just finished not so late.

Working Life: Work

I have been lacking the internet for a while but on arrival back to my room this afternoon it was up and running. Not a lot has happened since my last update. I still go to work early and finish late and use the same washing basket. I received new work uniforms, pants not jeans now everyday. Kicked off running over the weekend, it is not that fun. Fly back to the coast tomorrow before a week long conference in Sydney followed by another weekend at home.

Turns out I left my camera cable in the office. So I will leave a photo that couldn’t be further away from my current room view.

Working Life: Weekend

I didn’t pack my camera for the weekend adventure but their were a few things that I would have liked to capture, mainly food. Not eating work food was the highlight, my sister cooked one night and we went out the other. On the menu for the weekend was lasagne, assortment of Japanese lollies, Thai, pancakes, BLT’s, brownies and beers probably missed a few things but photos of these things alone would have been decent.

Stocked up on a few things for my room, mainly snacks. Bought a washing basket which is an official sign that I’m here for the long run. Came back to camp this afternoon and put the basket to good use. Sneak up north.

Working Life: Another Day

This photo is from Sapporo but with a little imagination you could relate it to my work. Replace the snow with dirt, the building for nothing and the diggers are at least 10 times bigger. We got four cakes from the Cheesecake Shop and I got my new computer today.

Working Life: Hours In A day

When you are like me and require eight hours of sleep a night it makes it a little tricky. I wake up at 4:45 so go to bed after 21:00 and you are already below the target eight. Over the hump day of the week. Not really much on offer in regards to photos. My new work phone it is meant to be tough, according to the name.
